Rentals

Our 50-seat black box theater is available for rent for productions and special events. Renters must supply a stage manager and box office attendant for each show. Stage Managers will run the lights and sound for each performance. For all rentals, if desired, the Strand will help publicize your event by sending your press release to our press list. The Strand will also promote the event on our website and Facebook/Twitter feeds. Space will not be held until the rental contract has been signed. PRICING (Rental price is based upon an average performance time of 2 hours)

• Rehearsals or Auditions (no stage lights or outside food or beverages): $25 per hour
• Black Box: $200 - One night usage of the theater, delivered in its current stage configuration and fixed lights set for on and off use
• Black Box Plus: $275 - One night rental (as above), plus one 3-hour tech rehearsal period with fixed lights set for on and off use
• Black Box Weekend: $550 - Three performances (any combination of Friday evening, Saturday matinee or evening, and Sunday matinee or evening) delivered in black box configuration with fixed lights set for on and off use
• Black Box Weekend Plus: $600 - Three performances (as above), plus 4 hours of rehearsal time (must be used in one evening)
