Individual Donations

Your gift makes the difference.  We welcome donations from individuals, like you, who understand the importance of the arts, and who appreciate the Strand's unique contribution in bringing a female voice to Baltimore. The Strand accepts donations, both monetary and in-kind gifts, which contribute to the quality of the performance you see on stage.  No other group contributes as much to the Strand's success as individual supporters like you. The Strand received more than $5,300 in direct contributions from individuals last year. And we welcomed 40 first-time donors to the Strand. We were overwhelmed by your amazing support and cannot say thank you enough!  

Your donations have an immediate impact by helping us do the following: 
$25 - helps provide water for a cast of a show
$50 - Offsets the cost of printing show posters and postcards
$100 covers the cost of printing production programs, or a travel allowance for an actor
$150 pays for publicity materials for a production, or a stipend for an actor in a production
$250 pays our dedicated stage manager
$500 provides set design, building, and dressing for a production
$1,000 covers costumes, props, food, and promotion for a production
$3000 sponsors an entire production

• Lauren Gunderson Level - $1-$99 Donors receive their name in our program and a Strand Theater Company sticker.
• Anna Deavere Smith Level - $100-$249 Donors receive their name in our program, a Strand Theater Company sticker, and fridge magnet.
• Chloe Zhao Level - $250-$499 Donors receive their name in our program, a Strand Theater Company sticker, a fridge magnet, and a button.
• Daniela Vega Level - $500-$749 Donors receive all previous gifts, plus a signed show poster from one of our shows this season.
• Paula Vogel Level - $750-$999 Donors receive all previous gifts, plus a pair of tickets to a show of your choice, and an invitation to an end of season donor party.
• Lynn Nottage Level - $1000+ Donors receive all previous gifts, plus a season ticket subscription for Season 15: Celebrating Women’s Adventures on Stage, and an invitation to an end of season donor party.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
The Strand gratefully accepts in-kind donations of office supplies and equipment, printing and graphic design, set-building materials, furniture, props, costumes, and a variety of other much-needed items and materials.
