In the past four years the Strand has...
- produced 16 full-length plays (all Baltimore premieres);
- began an annual six-week festival of new works (on hiatus in 2012);
- supported numerous small companies and performers by gifting space;
- offered 75% of all opportunities within the theater to women; and
- served nearly 6,000 patrons.
We play an integral role in the continued revitalization of the Station North Arts & Entertainment District, and our work has brought a much-needed injection of fresh energy into the community.
